We have an opportunity for a Sales Assistant to join our team.

At the moment, Taylormade Fasteners is going through a stage of continued growth, where we are looking to grow our team with knowledgeable individuals to help us build and progress into the future vision we have.

Working within our company, your role will be involved in all aspects of our Sales and Estimating of your own dedicated accounts.

Your role will include advising and offering guidance to our customers about the products we are selling and ensure they are fully informed with what they are receiving / buying at point of enquiry.

You will also need to contribute to achieving and maintaining excellent standards of customer service, merchandising and presentation in all areas of your role and to present a professional face of the brand to maintain a professional, happy business relationship.

Role details / What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing (sales) role.
  • Must have previous costing / estimating experience (preferably in fasteners)
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to create a rapport in a face to face situation (eg. Sales visits).
  • Working in a fast-paced environment and able to meet time-sensitive deadlines.
  • A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Comfortable working on your own and in a team.
  • A driving license would be an advantage.
  • Comfortable with logging enquiries on a shared sales system to understand our Quote to Success ratios
  • Working to set guidance and systems to ensure everyone works effectively to our ISO approval.
  • Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday (9.00am – 5.30pm) & Friday (9.00am – 3pm)
  • Overtime offered by managers give premiums which are payable after 40 hours.
  • Ensuring your work is organised and your desk remains well-kept.

  • Have 2+ years experience within a similar role.
  • Conversational skills to ensure the customer is interested in dealing with us as a company
  • Have great attention to detail.
