CNC Setter

We have an opportunity for a CNC Setter to join our team.

Working within our company, your role will be involved in setting and operating various CNC machines.

Role details / What we’re looking for:

• For the role of CNC Setter, you will be Setting and Operating various CNC machines – Eg, Fanuc Control on 2, 4 or 8 axis machines.
• Loading and unloading of parts.
• Quality Inspection of parts using micrometers, Vernier’s and gauges at specific percentage based intervals will be required for the role of CNC Setter.
• Working from Engineering drawings to BS / ISO standards and customer specific drawings is required for the role,
• Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday (7.30am – 4.30pm) & Friday (7.30am – 2pm)
  • Overtime offered by managers give premiums which are payable after 40 hours.
• Working in a fast-paced environment and able to meet time-sensitive deadlines.
• Logging product shortages and reporting them to the Management Team at point of machining to ensure full orders are dispatched,
• Ensuring your work area always has a high level of cleanliness and tidiness and everything is “rehomed” at the end of each shift (where possible).
• Ensuring all PPE issued is worn at all times.

Skills:

Have 2+ years experience within a similar role.
